Mere Husband Ki Biwi set accident

As per several media reports, an accident took place on the sets of Mere Husband Ki Biwi. As noted by Bollywood Hungama, a ceiling collapsed during a song shoot at Imperial Palace, Royal Palms. Present at the shoot were actors Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Jackky Bhagnani, and director Mudassar Aziz. Reportedly, none of the cast or crew members sustained life-threatening injuries. According to Ashok Dubey from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), the collapse was triggered by vibrations from the sound system.

Choreographer Vijay Ganguly – who was overseeing the Mere Husband Ki Biwi song sequence, said, “We were on the monitor when suddenly the ceiling collapsed. Luckily, it fell in parts, and we had a trough to protect us. Had the entire ceiling fallen, it could have been disastrous, but many people still got hurt.”

Reportedly, the director of photography (DOP) fractured his thumb, a camera attendant suffered a spine injury, and Ganguly himself sustained injuries to his elbow and head. Director Mudassar Aziz too sustained injures during the accident.
